Based out of Portland, Maine, Pinecomber is heavily inspired by New England's rich clothing history. By blending the region's tradition of Ivy style, vintage outdoors-wear, as well as both woodland and maritime aesthetics Pinecomber creates pieces that just get better with wear.
The design of Pinecomber's visual identity had to balance the preppy, academic with the salty, hard-wearing. To achieve this, the design language across the entire scope of the project carries a level of refinement with an roughened edge; the logos feature imperfect lines, the packaging of products contrasts natural, pulpy cardstock with spot varnished designs, the language across the line encourages you to pull no punches when it comes to dirtying up your new button down.
